It’s not just a song and dance.

The transition between work and performing seems to be a seamless one for Jeff. His first taste of acting was in the musical A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum in high school. After that, Jeff was hooked. He continued to be active in the theatre community in college, which then carried over once Jeff landed a career in the advertising industry.

When he’s not poring over digital analytics for our clients, Jeff rehearses six nights a week, performs in three to four shows a year and participates in the singing group Motif – a 20-person professional show choir. Jeff is active in the Detroit Actor’s Theatre Company and has starred in plays and musicals locally such as Evil Dead, Link Larkin in Hairspray, and will soon play the lead in the upcoming musical Spring Awakening. Jeff also rubbed shoulders with David Arquette and Courteney Cox as an extra in the locally shot film
Scream 4.

Like any theatre buff, Jeff is a fan of the Big Apple and enjoys seeing shows when he has the time. “I work with a lot of talented people,” says Jeff of his tight-knit theatre community. “Someday, someone will make it big and I’ll be able to visit them on Broadway.”

We think that “someone” will be Jeff.
