While on a shoot for America's Navy a couple years ago, Michael McCallum was given a bit of a boost from director Peyton Wilson to pursue an untapped talent: directing.
Michael’s passion for music, combined with his creative abilities, landed him in the director’s chair directing music videos. Since then, Mike has directed and helped produce multiple music videos across a variety of genres — R&B, hip-hop and country — for major labels.
His interests are expanding into documentaries such as the fashion scene in Detroit. “There’s a wealth of interesting people and stories in Detroit,” says McCallum. “It’s exciting to bring them to life.”
Don’t call him Hype Williams or John Singleton yet – but we’re pretty sure this Michael has a future in film.
